2005 Winner writes:
I want to thank you for the Palmer Scholarship.          The award allowed me to take a leave of absence from my job so that I might focus completely on my studies. During the fall semester I was able to receive my highest grades since beginning at IUPUI which I believe was a result of the scholarship. This past semester has been the first time that I have ever been able to avoid juggling work and school since starting college.

While the award was a great aid, thank you even more for taking interest in me and for your involvement in encourage other college students like myself. Your efforts have been a tremendous support and inspiration. Thank you,

Gratefully,
